| How long has ASH been around compaired to JWT. Maybe thats why the fastest Z have JWT. I think of Ash as more of an upcomer. JWT is tried and true. That may be why many choose it over ASH or they just dont know about ASHtech. You walk into a shop like SGP and they don't sell ASH, Cause they started with JWT and will stick with it, its all they know. Many online vendors sell JWT, how many sell ASH? Personally ive had an ASHtech on a TT and JWT on a NA. I felt no results from the NA JWT, but heard of people switching from JWT NA to ASH NA and feeling a difference. As for TTs I dont know i converted to TT and started right off with ASH, I'm currently running an ASHtech with no issues. my point was that maybe the fastest Zs in the nation run JWT cause its been around longer and these people that have built the fastest Z have been tuning and modifing much longer than new comers. And these Vet tuners were brought up with JWT. JWT is just more common to those modding a ZX: JWT intakes, exhaust, turbos, eproms, clutch, cams, flywheels etc. The common Z tuner will search and the majority he/she is going to see is JWT this and that. Personally I wouldnt mind being a ginny pig, i'd like to know my self which drop in chip can out perform the other or perform safer. But of course i went with ASHtech due two things, His great care for satisfying his customers(at least me), and his PRICE. If JWT's TT eprom was the same price I prolly would of choose it cause its tried and true. But ASH had a word of mouth on TT.net and i tired it. So maybe 3 reasons i went with ASH.
